Why Would I Want To Help A Struggling Church?

Some pastors and leaders refuse to support and engage the work of revitalizing struggling churches. Many pastors only want to support foreign church planting efforts, or something that is going to "look good." When approached, one pastor even said, “I am not going to get involved with that church. It is a dying church.”

This is a thoughtless expression which reveals a lack of discernment!

Why should all of us engage the work of church revitalization?

Why do I say, “Reclaiming and strengthening struggling crippled churches is as much a part of the ministry as starting new ones and advancing strong ones!”

  1. Every strong church will one day be weak. The need you reject today, will be the need YOUR CHURCH will have tomorrow!

  2. Every Church in Revelation 2-3 found itself in need of some kind of renewal and Jesus was there to help them.

  3. The Apostle Paul’s ministry of Acts 15:36-41 proves that strengthening churches (“confirming”) is a constant need.

  4. The support of foreign church planting efforts hinges on having a broad base of strong churches here at home!

Let us know how we can help! Your church is as important to us as it is to you!
