My Story

My name is Brent Madaris. I have been saved, and preaching since 1982. I have pastored two churches and am currently pastoring my third church. I began pastoring in the year 2000. Each of my churches have been revitalization works. Much has been learned over these years about what to do and what not to do, and I am still learning! I would love to meet you sometime and see how we could partner together in the GREAT work of church revitalization!

I currently hold an M.Div. from Crown Seminary in Powell, TN., and I am nearing completion of my Doctor of Ministry from Pensacola Theological Seminary, where I have focused, as much as possible, on the work of church revitalization.

The Revitalization work of churches relies upon individuals whose heart God has touched for the work.

Hometown Hope encourages 3 core initiatives:

1. Practical Applications - Various supports/resources to assist revitalization pastors in the work.

2. Biblical / Academic Preparation - Educational preparation reorienting pastors' mindset and skill set preparing them to meet the challenges of the current spiritual and religious climate of America.

3. Developing a foundation of revitalization literature specifically designed for Independent Baptist churches and pastors.

I have given my life to my Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, and the work that He has given me to do!
