It is my desire to commit the rest of my life to the work of church revitalization among Independent Baptist Churches. The work of revitalization is going on in many other religious persuasions. There is precious little organized revitalization going on among Independent Baptists from a practical standpoint as well as an academic perspective.
Two Questions:
What are a few ways that you feel are important to implement, that will highlight the importance, advisability, and possibility of revitalization (rather than continued decline and death) to, and among, the 14,000-16,000 Independent Baptist churches of today?
Why, do you feel, have Independent Baptist training institutions of America not engaged the ministry of academic training for church revitalization; and what suggestions can you offer on how best to remedy this lack of emphasis?
